The teachers at Tiny
Treasures form the heart of our center. Although they represent a
wide range of ages, experiences and backgrounds, they share a deep
commitment to the care and education of young children. They offer
both expertise and kindness, creating a loving, learning
environment that allows Tiny Treasures children to achieve
intellectual and social growth while remaining safe and secure.

Mrs.
Ronni,
Owner/Director
Mrs. Ronni started working with children as part of Andrew High
School’s Work-Co-Op Program in 1993. After receiving her education
at Moraine Valley College, she worked for several years as a Day
Care Teacher in Oak Forest and Orland Park, and as a Gymboree
Teacher. Later, as a nanny, Mrs. Ronni was inspired by the special
bonds that were created between herself and the children and their
families, and dreamt of one day opening a child care center with
that same ’family’ feeling. In 2003, she made her dream a reality,
and opened Tiny Treasures Childcare. Mrs. Ronni is the Owner and
Director and can be found at the center everyday to enrich the
lives of her 100+ children! The students love her never-ending
enthusiasm (even at 6:30am!) and warm heart.
She is proud of all of her staff for
the consistency, longevity and stability they give the center, in
a field traditionally known for its high turn-over employment
rate. As a former Work Co-Op student herself, Mrs. Ronni is
thrilled to be able to ‘give back’ and have so many Co-Op students
as employees. She is also proud of all the work put into her new,
much larger facility (much thanks to her wonderful husband!) and
excited to be able to continue providing quality childcare for New
Lenox and the surrounding communities residents.
Mrs. Ronni resides in New Lenox with
her husband, Tony (a familiar face to the kids at the center), and
their new ‘Tiny Treasure’, Maximus, born in January 2009. Both
Mrs. Ronni & Mr. Tony are thrilled to be parents! In her free
time, Ronni likes to spend time with her family (including dog,
Peyton), shop, watch movies, and scrapbook. |
